So many of our modern service management companies and institutes Practices come from the industrial Age. It gave us the belief that you have to control and manage people and also it gave us a view in accounting that People is place as Expense and Machines assets. THINK about it”.

These statements clearly explain my experience as a security operative in one of our reputable security management company sorry to mention Halogen precisely. Before I continue am not using my opinion to criticize is just clearly my observation and reporting at least I learn that so well. For one thing I know Halogen for, is theirs Report documentation.

Let me start with the overview of a security operatives or guards. I will like to use security service as an example because I had a wonderful working experience needed for me to state and report my observations as an Ex-Operative. 

Firstly, what is Security Guard/Service? Security guards are hired operatives mainly for patrolling services that check for potential Criminal activities or thief. And also security guards presence May stop crime before it Happening.

Secondly, Reasons to hire professional security Guards/Services depends on Companies that want to make their customers, clients, visitors feel safety during business hours, and this can protect the company’s reputation and which may lead to more visits and growth. But that not the reason for this context about security guards and so on.

My Report and Observation as a Security Operatives during my service at one of the reputable security agency beat disclosure. 
Security guards are the most unrated after the waste Management operatives as far as serviceability conscience. Security guards are under-looked in the chain of security personnel. Securities Guards are mostly in front at any given civil war, controlling or stabilize any situation at a given location to its normalization. And while performing his duties as a Security personnel these happen; security guards are mostly dead or injure, some may lead to being handicap for the rest of their lives.

With this recent and going dreadful virus #COVID-19 aka corona virus pandemic; the security guards are majorly in front, controlling and fighting the spread of these dreadful virus in and out of our Work places, organizations, Banks, Offices, shopping complex, Schools, Churches, Mosques, think of any event plan activities or a commerce centre you most surely see a security guards present, but yet UNDER PAID, LOOK DIFFERENTLY, POINT ACQUISATION or BLAME THEM, SHOUT UPON, and mostly Being Treated as THINGS.
Security Guard is indeed important to our organization and everyone of the guard in one way at one point in time has a onetime big dream of being great. Some guards believe that starting small will actually get them there, one year passed, two years passed; some go as far as ten to fifteen years in service with no appreciation talk more of recognition. Like our popular singer #burnaboy title song TIME FLIES try hard to listen to the lyric of the song.
My seven (7) month as an Halogen operatives; I observed within the Security guards the lack of welfare, cooperation among the guards, and lack of welfare between the Security guards and Security company provider themselves.
During the course of my service, here comes #COVID-19 aka corona virus pandemic, these dreadful diseases. Additional duty is being added to the Security guards without any due training of how to prevent ourselves at first, without any medical hand glove or face mask. Before entering any work places or organization, the first personnel you in front is the security guard waiting to perform the necessary procedure of temperature checked, ensure that any customer or visitor most wash their hands, wear their face mask before entering any business or event premises. Not only the security guard.
At least recognition and appreciation can be awarded to each of them, if not rise in salary or wages at one level of service years, because if I have to announce the amount a security company is collecting for each security guard and yet the guard is being treated as a thing. 
Companies should look into the welfare of every security guard failure to will lead to Stealing, Damages, and most of all unfriendly attitudes towards staffs, customers, visitors, and even to their selves as a guard.
Lack of Talent development program or self improvement platform any platform that concise with personal improvement. Security guards are targeted audience that could be caption so likewise any other serviceability management companies workers in one platform to help themselves individually as they face new challenges day to day. This platform could give a push to any serious minded security guards who at one point dream big or want to try something new that are of benefit to them. It could be COPERATIVE CONTRIBUTION among guards on or off beat location. The platform could be a mini e-market platform for those that have interest in business to easily invest and earn commission when they buying and selling.
They should also be monthly training for all the serviceability workers not only the security guards in order for them to improve in skill handling or for them to deliver excellence service.
Security Guards are human, Cleaners and waste management personnel are also human, they should be treated as optimum as possible.
